I’m Darshaun Smith, the founder of Darshaun Smith Productions, a visual storytelling and branding company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

I’m a photographer, videographer, and designer who believes great creative work should do more than look good—it should mean something.

Being from Cedar Rapids has always been an important part of my story. I was born here, grew up here, and now own the home I was born in. That sense of connection has shaped how I approach my work: authentic, personal, and focused on capturing people and businesses as they truly are.

Today, DSP works with individuals, families, artists, athletes, organizations, and businesses through photography, video production, graphic design, and creative AI. Whether we're capturing a graduation, documenting an event, building a business brand, or creating content for a new campaign, the goal remains the same: tell the story, create a great experience, and give our clients visual content they can continue using long after the project is finished.
