How do i book a session with dsp?

  • After taking a look at DSP’s “photo”, “video”, or “Graphic design” work, and selecting a service to move forward with from the “services” tab, you will then need to fill out a “booking / contact form”. Within 24-48 hours, a follow up email will be sent to set up a free consultation meeting with “Darshaun smith.”

  • next comes the follow up meeting. this meeting can be held in person, over the Phone, or on zoom. we will discuss your project and the finer details to make sure everyone is on the same page of what needs to be captured and delivered. this should take no more then 10-30 minutes max.

  • After Our meeting, “DSP” will generate a project proposal and have that sent over to you via email within 24-48 hours. This proposal normally consists of a “contract”, “media release”, “invoice”, and a “means to pay the deposit” to lock the shoot date in.

  • It’s time to capture your “special moment”. please just be present and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • After the project has been completed, DSP will need time to refine the raws into a masterpiece. You can expect to have your Content delivered as per the contract within 10 - 14 days, if not sooner!

Frequently Asked Questions… ANswered!!!

  • The deposit of half your agreed upon project amount is required to Reserve your shoot date and time. It is non-refundable and if you need to reschedule, can and will be used to find a new date that works for all parties involved

  • You can expect to receive your content within 10 - 14 days after your shoot date. Content will be delivered Electronically via “WeTransfer portal” and will be available to download and share for one Month post the delivered Date.

  • At DSP, we get it, life is life and things need to change sometimes. it is preferred that 24 hours minimum notice is given to adjust one’s schedule. Though the initial deposit is non-refundable, it will secure a future time-slot in the same way, meaning no additional deposit is needed to reschedule as long as the new date is with two calendar months.

  • Photo and video shoots tend to go better if you have a few friends around to make sure you look good, and say what you need to say. Bring as many people as you want, but do note that if they are to be photographed or added on in the video outside of what was stated in the contract, there may be an additional charge of $30 Dollars, per person, per location.

  • We get it, you don’t want the moment to end and need a few more shots before DSP heads out. we can stick around and capture the moment, but note an additional fee of $50 Per 30 minutes will be added on to you final total.

  • DSP is based in eastern Iowa, the Cedar rapids and Iowa city areas, but can and will travel to other locations if need be. this is an add-on and can vary in price depending on your shoots location.

  • There is an add-on for this. Once purchased, You will have access to all raw files to download. You will have one week from the ad-on purchased Date to access these files. the price vary per type of content, but the average is around $250.

  • Time - $50 for an extra 30 minutes of shooting/Recording

    Reshooting - Subject to an extra $100 charge depending on time used (bad Weather / on location incidents excluded)

    Extra People - $30 per person per location

    Speedy Edits - $125 24-48 hour delivery once chosen

    RAW Files - $250 for 24/7 Access to all RAW files for 1 week

    Late fees - $25 for Every 15 minutes Late (can be substituted for a video testimonial potentially)

    Travel Fee - if outside of eastern Iowa, this starts at $250 and varies from there.
