In this episode of The Positivity Hour, we dive into a topic that affects almost everyone today: social media vs real life.
Social media can be an incredible tool, but it can also reshape how we think, how we spend our time, and even how we view ourselves and the people around us. In this episode, I go off script and talk about the real-world effects social media has on your brain, your friendships, and your relationships with family.
Using real-life examples, I break down what actually happens when we spend too much time online and what we miss when we forget to live in the real world.
I also share five ways you can use social media more intentionally and three ways to immediately improve your real-life experiences. These are practical shifts that can help you build stronger relationships, gain more confidence, and start focusing on what actually matters.
Along the way, I open up about something personal: overcoming my own fear of looking dumb or lost when trying to learn from others. Sometimes the fastest way to grow is simply being willing to ask questions and learn from people who know more than you.
To close out the episode, I share a piece of wisdom that came straight from a YouTube comment section—proof that sometimes powerful insights can come from the most unexpected places.
